Gardening Club
Alison Hoffmann has agreed to sow the seeds for a new Gardening Club at
Nolan and needs your help to make them grow. In other words, Alison has
generously offered to help start up and run the new Gardening Club that
so many of you asked for in your responses to the School Enrichment Survey.
She envisions meeting with children according to age: K-2 and 3-5 on a
monthly basis. Activities will be determined by the interests of the participants,
but may include learning to grow cool plants from seeds, cultivating vegetables
to ripen throughout the school year, helping to beautify Nolan's outdoors,
and learning the practical tips and science that make Gardening fun.
So please contact Alison by email (arks@comcast.net) to sign your child
up, ask questions, or volunteer to help grow these seeds into a mature
club.

the fourth Monday (upper grades).
If you have children in your family that are in different groups please
feel free to bring them to the same meeting. Could someone volunteer to
bring a snack? We would need enough for 18 in the lower grades and 12
in the upper grades. Email me at arks@comcast.net .
We are planning to go outside, weather permitting, so send them in clothes
that can get dirty.
