Nolan Elementary principal Ken Barker was tapped as the principal of Nolan
Elementary while it was still on the drawing board.

The
children in her room call her Mrs. Pat. Pat has lived on Signal
Mountain for more than 32 years now. She has been with Hamilton
County schools for over 13 years, and has worked with the students
at SMMS, Spring Creek Elementary and now Nolan. She loves working
Special Ed because she get as much from the children as she hopes
to give to them. Pat also collects "Santa's" and says
"That's just the kid in me". She also finds time to enjoy
scrapbooking, crafts, and going to craft fairs.
Linda Shewmake has taught at Nolan for over 2 years. She lives on
the mountain and moved here from Montgomery AL. Prior to teaching
at Nolan, she worked at Scenicland School.
